Conflict Management is a six-hour seminar designed to allow individuals the opportunity to successfully reach a conflict resolution that is wise, efficient and amicable, focusing simultaneously on results and relationships. Course Objectives: Ability to appropriately manage conflict significantly affects the quality of business and personal relationships. Conflict is inevitable and has several consequences. Course Design: Participants gain an opportunity to incorporate seminar content in several conflict simulations. The learning model is: Awareness - through experiential learning, participants will discover knowledge that can be turned into skills to make a difference in how they make decisions. Feedback - feedback from seminar participants and the facilitator will identify priorities for improvement. Practice - through experiential learning exercises, participants will have an opportunity to apply the discovered knowledge. Planning - ten percent of Conflict Management is devoted to developing action plans. |
