Conflict Management

Course Description:

Conflict Management is a six-hour seminar designed to allow individuals the opportunity to successfully reach a conflict resolution that is wise, efficient and amicable, focusing simultaneously on results and relationships.

Course Objectives:

Ability to appropriately manage conflict significantly affects the quality of business and personal relationships. Conflict is inevitable and has several consequences. By the end of this seminar participants will be able to:

  • Define conflict including potential benefits and negative results
  • Learn principles for seeking collaborative resolutions
  • Identify their conflict style and potential ramifications
  • Identify the modes of conflict: appropriateness, necessary skills, overuse nd under use consequences
  • Examine and practice a Managing Conflict Model
